We are more than design and advertising specialists in our communication projects. The Indian-inspired restaurant Chutnify is one of those cases where we realized that what the brand needed was a good PR push to create buzz and curiosity when it decided to open its second restaurant in Lisbon after Berlin. The main insight was that we do not normally associate Indian restaurants with modernity, something that Chutnify with its trendy and original environment came to prove wrong.
The PR campaign was aimed at bloggers and journalists focused on gastronomy but we also made a connection with young communities that like to know different trends and what’s happening in Lisbon. The result was that both the offline and online media massively joined this new concept: 130 news stories, 700.000€ on average media return and an endless number of social media shares.
